How ju99 Keeps You Protected

Responsible gaming is not an afterthought at ju99 — it is built into how the platform works. From account registration to every session you play, our tools and policies are designed to keep gambling enjoyable and under your control.

18+ Age Verification

Every new ju99 account undergoes age verification during the KYC process. Players under 18 are strictly prohibited from registering or playing on the platform. We take this obligation seriously and enforce it consistently.

Deposit Limit Controls

Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits directly from your account dashboard. Once a limit is set, it takes effect immediately and cannot be increased for 7 days — giving you genuine protection, not just a checkbox.

Session Time Limits

Set a maximum session duration so that ju99 will automatically alert you — and optionally log you out — when you have been playing for your chosen period. Time limits are a simple and effective way to maintain balance.

Cooling-Off Period

If you feel you need a short break, activate a cooling-off period of 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. During a cooling-off period your account is temporarily suspended — deposits, bets, and logins are blocked until the period ends.

Permanent Self-Exclusion

Players who feel gambling has become a serious problem may request permanent self-exclusion. Once activated, your account is closed and all future re-registration attempts from the same identity are blocked. This decision is irreversible for a minimum of 6 months.

Reality Check Notifications

Enable real-time notifications that show you how long you have been playing and how much you have spent or won in the current session. Seeing the numbers clearly — without having to navigate away from a game — supports more informed in-session decisions.

Section 1

Our Commitment to Responsible Gaming

At ju99, we believe that a betting and casino platform has a genuine responsibility to its players — not just to provide entertainment, but to actively work to prevent gambling-related harm.

ju99 was built to serve the Bangladeshi online gaming community with a platform that is transparent, secure, and player-focused. That commitment extends far beyond game selection and payment methods. We recognise that for a small proportion of players, gambling can shift from entertainment to a harmful compulsion — and we take concrete, practical steps to detect, prevent, and respond to that risk.

Our responsible gaming programme is embedded at every level of the platform. At the account level, we enforce a strict 18+ policy, require identity verification, and monitor account behaviour for patterns that may indicate distress. At the platform level, we provide a comprehensive toolkit of player-controlled limits and breaks. And at the support level, we make it straightforward to reach our team — or to be referred to specialist external organisations — when a player needs help.

We do not view responsible gaming as a compliance box to tick. It is a genuine part of how we operate. We monitor platform-wide trends, review our player protection tools regularly, and update this policy whenever we identify improvements we can make. If you have a suggestion for how ju99 could better support player wellbeing, we genuinely welcome your feedback at [email protected].

All responsible gaming tools described on this page are available to every registered ju99 player at no cost and without any negative consequence to their account standing. Using these tools is a sign of responsible play, not a reason for account review.

Gambling Is Entertainment: The most important principle of responsible gaming is simple — gambling is a form of entertainment, not a source of income. Every session should be approached with a fixed, affordable budget and a clear decision to stop when that budget is reached, regardless of outcome.
Losses Are Normal: Casino games and sports betting involve chance. Losses are a normal and expected part of gambling. Never chase a loss by increasing bet sizes or depositing additional funds in an attempt to recover what you have spent. Chasing losses is one of the most common early signs of problem gambling.
ju99 Monitors for Risk: Our platform uses automated monitoring to identify account behaviour patterns that may indicate problem gambling — such as rapidly increasing deposit frequency, session duration spikes, or repeated self-exclusion reversals. When a risk pattern is detected, our responsible gaming team may reach out proactively to offer support.
Section 2

Age Restriction & 18+ Policy

The ju99 platform is strictly for adults aged 18 and above. This is not merely a guideline — it is an absolute rule that we enforce through identity verification, account monitoring, and a zero-tolerance approach to underage access.

18+ Only — No Exceptions

It is illegal and strictly prohibited for anyone under the age of 18 to register, deposit, or place bets on ju99. Any account found to belong to an underage player will be immediately closed and all funds held in the account will be withheld pending investigation in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.

How We Verify Age

All new players are required to complete KYC (Know Your Customer) verification before their first withdrawal, and in many cases before their first deposit is processed. KYC requires submission of a government-issued identity document — such as a Bangladesh National Identity Card (NID), passport, or driving licence — which allows us to confirm both the player's identity and their date of birth.

Where age cannot be verified to our satisfaction, the account will be suspended until satisfactory documentation is provided. If the documentation confirms the player is under 18, the account is permanently closed.

Parental Controls

If you are a parent or guardian and you are concerned that a minor in your household may be accessing online gambling platforms, we recommend installing parental control software on shared devices. Products such as Net Nanny, Kaspersky Safe Kids, and built-in parental control features in Android and iOS can be configured to block access to gambling websites.

If you suspect that a minor has registered on ju99, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with the subject line UNDERAGE CONCERN and we will investigate and act without delay.

Situation ju99 Response
Player cannot provide age verification documents Account suspended until documents are submitted
Documents confirm player is under 18 Account permanently closed; funds withheld
Third party reports suspected underage player Immediate investigation; account frozen during review
Player admits to being under 18 via support Account closed immediately; case reviewed by compliance team
Player attempts re-registration after underage closure Permanent block on identity; flagged for fraud review
Do Not Share Your Account: Sharing your ju99 login credentials with anyone — including a friend or family member — is a violation of our Terms & Conditions. If we detect that an account is being accessed by multiple individuals, the account may be suspended. This rule exists partly to protect against underage access via a shared account.
Section 3

Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can develop gradually and is often difficult to recognise from the inside. The following signs may indicate that gambling has moved from entertainment to a harmful pattern that needs attention.

Ask yourself honestly whether any of the following statements apply to you. There are no right or wrong answers — this is a personal check-in, not a test.

  • You spend more money gambling than you originally planned, or more than you can comfortably afford.
  • You find yourself thinking about gambling frequently, even when you are doing other things.
  • You return to gambling shortly after a loss in an attempt to win back the money you lost (chasing losses).
  • You have tried to cut back on gambling but found it difficult or impossible to do so.
  • Gambling causes arguments, tension, or secrecy in your personal relationships.
  • You borrow money, sell possessions, or use funds meant for bills or essentials to gamble.
  • You feel restless, irritable, or anxious when you are not gambling.
  • You lie to family members or friends about how much time or money you spend gambling.
  • Gambling has negatively affected your work, studies, sleep, or physical health.
  • You gamble as a way to escape stress, anxiety, depression, or personal problems.
If Several of These Apply to You: Recognising a problem is the first and most important step. Gambling-related harm is a recognised health issue — it is not a character flaw or a sign of weakness. Help is available, it is free, and it is confidential. Please read the Support & External Resources section of this page and reach out.
The Gamblers Anonymous 20 Questions: Gamblers Anonymous publishes a well-known self-assessment tool (the GA 20 Questions) that is widely used by counsellors and support organisations worldwide. If you are unsure whether your gambling behaviour is a concern, completing the GA 20 Questions is a useful starting point. Search for it online or contact our support team for a direct link.
Talk to Someone at ju99: If you recognise any of the signs above and want to speak to someone, email [email protected] with the subject line RESPONSIBLE GAMING SUPPORT. Our team will respond promptly, in confidence, and without any judgment. We can activate protective tools on your account, refer you to external support organisations, or simply listen.
Section 4

Player Protection Tools

ju99 provides a full suite of player-controlled tools that can be activated at any time from your account dashboard or by contacting support. Every tool described below is free to use and takes effect immediately upon activation.

01
Deposit Limits

Set a maximum daily, weekly, or monthly deposit amount. Once set, the limit applies immediately. Increasing a deposit limit requires a 7-day cooling period before the increase takes effect — protecting you from impulse decisions. Reducing a limit takes effect immediately.

02
Loss Limits

Set the maximum amount you are willing to lose over a given period (daily, weekly, or monthly). When your net loss reaches the limit, further betting is blocked until the period resets. Like deposit limits, loss limit increases have a 7-day delay.

03
Session Time Limits

Define a maximum session length. When the limit is reached, you receive an on-screen notification. You can choose to receive a warning-only alert or to have your session automatically ended when the time limit is hit.

04
Reality Check Alerts

Receive periodic on-screen reminders during active sessions showing your current session duration, net win/loss for the session, and a prompt to review your activity. Intervals can be set from 15 minutes to 2 hours according to your preference.

05
Cooling-Off Period

Take a temporary break from the platform for 24 hours, 3 days, 7 days, or 30 days. During a cooling-off period, your account is suspended — you cannot log in, deposit, or place bets. All pending withdrawal requests are still processed normally during this period.

06
Wager Limits

Set a maximum stake per bet or per spin across all games and sports markets. Wager limits help you maintain consistent bet sizing and prevent emotional over-betting during a losing run or a winning streak that feels too good to stop.

How to Activate a Tool: All player protection tools can be found in your ju99 account under Account Settings → Responsible Gaming. If you cannot locate the settings panel or if you need a tool activated urgently — for example, you want an immediate cooling-off period — contact our support team at [email protected] and we will action it on your behalf within minutes.
Section 5

Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is a formal, enforceable commitment to stop gambling on ju99 for a defined minimum period. It goes further than a cooling-off period and is the appropriate tool for players who feel their gambling is genuinely out of control.

What Self-Exclusion Does

When you activate self-exclusion on ju99, your account is immediately and completely suspended. You will be logged out of any active session. All future login attempts will be blocked. Promotional communications from ju99 will be stopped. Any bonus balance in your account at the time of exclusion will be forfeited in accordance with our Terms & Conditions. Any real-money balance in your account will be refunded via your registered withdrawal method within 5–10 business days.

Self-Exclusion Periods

ju99 offers the following self-exclusion periods: 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, and Permanent (indefinite). We do not offer self-exclusion periods shorter than 6 months — shorter breaks are available via the cooling-off period tool described in Section 4. Once a self-exclusion is active, it cannot be reversed before the chosen minimum period has elapsed, even if you contact support and request reinstatement.

Requesting Self-Exclusion

To activate self-exclusion, choose either of these methods:

  1. Via account settings: Navigate to Account Settings → Responsible Gaming → Self-Exclusion and follow the on-screen steps. Select your exclusion period and confirm your decision.
  2. Via email: Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line SELF-EXCLUSION REQUEST. Include your registered name and mobile number. Our team will process the exclusion immediately and confirm by return email.

Re-Joining After Self-Exclusion

After the minimum self-exclusion period has elapsed, a player who wishes to return to ju99 must submit a written re-activation request to [email protected]. Re-activation is not automatic. Our responsible gaming team will review the request, apply a mandatory 24-hour reflection period, and may request confirmation that the player has received appropriate support before re-activation is granted. We may decline a re-activation request if we have concerns about the player's wellbeing.

Self-Exclusion Is Irreversible for the Minimum Period

Once you request self-exclusion, it cannot be undone before the minimum period ends. Please consider carefully and, if possible, speak to a counsellor or trusted person before activating permanent exclusion.

Attempted Circumvention: If a self-excluded player attempts to register a new account using the same identity details (name, national ID, mobile number), the new account will be identified and closed. ju99 maintains a self-exclusion register and cross-checks all new registrations against it.
Withdrawal During Exclusion: Activating self-exclusion does not forfeit your real-money balance. Any funds in your wallet at the time of exclusion will be returned to you via your registered withdrawal method. This process typically takes 5–10 business days and does not require you to be logged in.
Use It If You Need It: Self-exclusion exists because we know some players reach a point where external controls are more effective than personal willpower alone. There is no shame in using this tool. It is a sign of self-awareness and strength — and our team will support you through the process with complete confidentiality.
Section 6

Setting Deposit & Time Limits

Deposit and time limits are the most practical day-to-day responsible gaming tools available on ju99. This section explains how to set them and how they work in practice.

Deposit Limits — How They Work

A deposit limit caps the total amount of money you can add to your ju99 account within a given time window. You can choose to apply a limit per day, per week, or per month — or all three simultaneously. Once you reach your limit, further deposit attempts are declined until the period resets.

Deposit limits in Bangladesh are measured in BDT (৳). For example, you might set a weekly deposit limit of ৳5,000 to keep your gambling spend within a defined budget. If you attempt to deposit ৳3,000 when ৳2,000 of your weekly limit remains, the deposit will be blocked and you will be notified of the remaining limit.

Reducing a deposit limit takes effect immediately — as soon as you save the change, the lower limit is active. Increasing a limit requires a 7-day waiting period. This asymmetry is deliberate: it allows you to tighten your limits quickly in a moment of clarity, while protecting you from impulsive decisions to loosen them.

Time Limits — How They Work

A session time limit defines the maximum continuous period you can spend on the ju99 platform in a single login session. You can set limits from as short as 30 minutes up to 8 hours per session. When your session approaches the limit, you will receive an on-screen reminder. At the limit, you will either receive a final alert (warning-only mode) or be automatically logged out (auto-logout mode).

Time limits work alongside the reality-check alert feature. If you also have reality checks enabled, you will receive periodic mid-session reminders of how long you have been playing, giving you natural pause points throughout your session — not just at the end.

Time limits reset at the start of each new login session. They do not accumulate across sessions: the limit applies per continuous session, not per calendar day. If you want to control daily total time on the platform, use the session time limit in combination with the reality check interval to stay informed of your cumulative time.

Step-by-Step: Activating a Deposit Limit

  • 1
Log in to your ju99 account using your registered mobile number and password. Complete OTP verification if prompted.
  • 2
Navigate to Account Settings using the account menu icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
  • 3
Select "Responsible Gaming" from the settings menu. This section contains all player protection tools in one place.
  • 4
Click "Deposit Limits" and choose your preferred period — daily, weekly, or monthly. Enter the maximum BDT amount you wish to allow for that period.
  • 5
Confirm your selection. The limit takes effect immediately. You will receive a confirmation notification to your registered mobile number.
  • 6
Repeat for additional periods if desired — for example, set both a daily limit of ৳1,000 and a monthly limit of ৳20,000 to protect yourself on both timescales.
Section 7

Support & External Resources

If you feel that gambling is becoming a problem — for yourself or someone close to you — help is available. ju99's own support team is always reachable, and a number of independent organisations provide free, confidential counselling and guidance.

ju99 Responsible Gaming Support: Email [email protected] with the subject line RESPONSIBLE GAMING SUPPORT. Our team is available around the clock and will respond within a few hours. We can activate any player protection tool on your behalf, provide information about external resources, or simply offer a listening ear. All communications are treated with complete confidentiality.

Independent Support Organisations

The following organisations provide free, professional, and confidential support for people experiencing gambling-related harm. They are independent of ju99 and operate without any commercial interest in your continued gambling.

  • Gamblers Anonymous (GA): A worldwide fellowship of people who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other to recover from a gambling problem. GA meetings are available in many countries and online. Search "Gamblers Anonymous" to find a meeting near you or an online group accessible from Bangladesh.
  • GamCare: A UK-based organisation that provides information, advice, and free counselling for anyone affected by gambling-related harm. Their online chat and helpline services are available internationally. Website: gamcare.org.uk
  • GambleAware: Provides resources for safer gambling, including self-assessment tools, a treatment referral service, and guidance for friends and family of problem gamblers. Website: begambleaware.org
  • National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG): Based in the United States but with international resources, NCPG operates a 24/7 helpline and extensive online resource library covering all aspects of problem gambling recovery.
  • Kaan Pete Roi (Bangladesh): A Bangladeshi mental health and emotional support helpline that provides confidential counselling in a local context. While not exclusively focused on gambling, they offer support for stress, anxiety, and behavioural issues related to financial problems.

For Friends and Family

Problem gambling affects not just the individual player but those around them. If you are worried about someone else's gambling, Gam-Anon — the partner organisation to Gamblers Anonymous — provides a community and resources specifically designed for people whose lives have been affected by someone else's gambling problem.

Talking to Someone You Trust: Before reaching out to a formal organisation, many people find it helpful to speak frankly with a trusted friend, family member, or colleague about their gambling. Being honest with someone who cares about you can reduce the isolation that often accompanies problem gambling and can be the first step toward seeking structured support.
What should I do if I need immediate help right now?
If you feel you need to stop gambling immediately, the fastest action is to email [email protected] with the subject line SELF-EXCLUSION REQUEST and we will suspend your account within minutes, even outside normal business hours. You do not need to explain yourself or provide documentation at this stage — just the request is enough to trigger immediate suspension.
Can I speak to someone at ju99 without activating any restrictions?
Yes. Contacting our responsible gaming support team does not automatically trigger any account action. You can ask questions, discuss your concerns, or explore your options without any commitment to activate a limit or exclusion. Our team will only activate a tool at your explicit request.
Is my conversation with ju99 support confidential?
Yes. All responsible gaming support communications are treated as confidential within our compliance and customer support teams. They are not shared with other players, third parties, or publicly disclosed. They are retained only as part of our account records in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
What if I think a family member has a gambling problem on ju99?
Contact us at [email protected] with the subject line THIRD PARTY CONCERN. Provide as much detail as you can about the account holder. We cannot share account information with third parties, but we can flag the account for internal review and take appropriate protective action under our responsible gaming programme.
Section 8

Tips for Safer Gambling

These practical guidelines help you keep gambling enjoyable, manageable, and firmly in the category of entertainment — not obligation.

Set a Budget Before You Play

Decide exactly how much money you are comfortable spending before each session. Treat it like an entertainment expense — a cinema ticket, a dinner out. Once it is gone, the session is over.

Set a Time Limit Before You Play

Decide how long your session will last before you open the app. Use the session time limit tool to enforce it automatically. Time passes quickly when you are engaged — an external limit removes the guesswork.

Never Chase Losses

If you have hit your session budget and the results were not what you hoped, close the app. Increasing your next deposit to try to recover a loss is the single most reliable path toward a serious gambling problem.

Gamble for Fun, Not Profit

Approach every session expecting that you may lose your budget — and that is fine, because the session itself is the entertainment. Winnings are a bonus, not a plan. Players who gamble to make money are at far higher risk of harm.

Avoid Gambling When Tired or Upset

Emotional states — stress, sadness, anger, fatigue — impair judgment and make it harder to stick to your budget and time plans. If you have had a difficult day, consider other forms of relaxation before opening ju99.

Never Borrow to Gamble

Gambling with borrowed money — whether from bKash credit, a friend, a family member, or a loan — adds a financial obligation on top of the inherent risk of gambling. Only ever gamble with money you can genuinely afford to lose.

Balance Is Everything: Gambling is one activity among many. Maintain a healthy balance by making sure that other activities — exercise, social time, family, work, hobbies — continue to take their natural priority in your life. If you notice that gambling is crowding out other things you used to enjoy, that is an important signal worth paying attention to.
Take Regular Breaks: Even within a session, step away from the screen every 30–45 minutes. Get a glass of water, stretch, check in on something else. Continuous, uninterrupted gambling sessions are associated with more impulsive betting decisions and more difficulty stopping.
Keep Records: Consider keeping a simple log of your gambling sessions — how long you played, how much you deposited, and the outcome. Many people who develop problem gambling have a distorted sense of their losses because wins are memorable and losses are quickly forgotten. A written record provides an honest picture.
Celebrate Wins Wisely: When you win, consider withdrawing a portion of your winnings rather than reinvesting them all. Locking in a win — even a small one — reinforces responsible behaviour and ensures that gambling produces real-world value for you occasionally, not just on-screen balance movements.
